Metallica returns to Prague! May the 5th 2012

Metallica – the most famous metal band of the world returns to the Czech Republic and will perform in Prague after four years!

Fans can look forward to this concert. Metallica will play songs from The Black Album (1991). This album in the U.S. sold more than 15 million copies (22 million worldwide).

Alegría – Cirque du Soleil – 25th – 27th of May

The critically-acclaimed production Alegría will perform in Prague at the O2 Arena from May 25 – 27, 2012 for four performances only.
Alegría is a Cirque du Soleil classic and an internationally acclaimed production that has entertained more than 10 million people worldwide. Alegría is a Spanish word that means happiness, joy and jubilation and features an international cast of 55 performers and musicians from 17 countries and showcases breathtaking acrobatics. Acts include the Synchro Trapeze and the intense and high-energy Aerial High Bars in which daring aerialists fly to catchers swinging more than 40 feet above the stage. The vibrancy of youth is alive in Power Track, a brilliant display of synchronized choreography and tumbling on a trampoline system hidden under the stage floor. In Russian Bars, artists fly through the air and perform spectacular somersaults and mid-air turns, landing on bars perched on the sturdy shoulders of catchers.

Rihanna’s concert in Prague 7th December O2 Arena

One of the most popular singers Rihanna will have a concert in Prague on the 7th December 2011. She is coming back to the Czech capital after three years when she performed in Holesovice.
Based on a concert tour named Rated R, with which she sold out arenas around the world last year, Rihanna decided to come back to Europe with a new concert series called the same as her last album, Loud. In Prague (O2 Arena), the singer reveals 7th December. Tickets will be available from 14th February at prices from 990 to 1 690 CZK.
