BEST Hotel EVER- Over the top with everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

…The architecture, the staff, the location, the food, the room are all beyond five stars… At least a SIX STAR hotel. Ipod, computer, speakers, flat screen TV, large bed, rain shower and a view of the St Nicholas Catherdral were just a few of the treats of this hotel. They have a roof top where you see the roofs and spires of Prague. The garden has three levels and again you see the views of Prague from a fabulous European Garden. The music concierge’s knowledge and assistance was outstanding. They also have an extensive music library for everyone’s taste in music. The front desk and bell man were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, fresh and gourmet. WOW. THIS HOTEL IS OUTSTANDING IN EVERY WAY….

Sophisticated and Stylish

For Prague, this is an unusual 5* hotel. Most reflect the baroque and roccoco splendour of this wonderfully romantic city. The Aria however is very contemporary, with modern decor but this doesn’t detract from it being very stylish and in its own understated way the Aria achieves everything that a five star hotel should do and with great success.

We arrived at the hotel mid morning and were immediately shown to our room, The Dvorak Suite. The porter took time to show us everything in the suite and how to work the music system and all the other mod cons. The suite consisted of a living room with small kitchenette with hob, microwave and fridge, a computer with free wifi access ( something that should be standard in hotels but rarely is) and flat screen tv. The bedroom was huge with two large wardrobes, proper hangers, and a huge bed. Both rooms had views of the beautiful gardens. The bathroom was a good size with a large selection of Moulton Brown products including pillow spray, eye cream and lip balm. The only think I though unusual for a suite of this quality was the lack of a walk in shower, the shower was a large rain shower over the bath but still very powerful as was the hand shower.
I loved having the ipod in the room which is given to each guest and the selection of music will suit everyone.

The hotel arranged drivers and guides for us and all were excellent.

Breakfast is very good, with a large selection of fabulous breads and wheat free products, cheeses, cold meats, fruit and yogarts as well as smoked salmon and various meats. Guests can also order a fully cooked breakfast and this was excellent too. The only quibble with breakfast was there were never any cereal bowls put out, we had to ask for them each morning we were there, they arrived immediately but this was odd.
Due to the volcanic dust cloud we had to leave earlier than expected so missed our meal in the Coda restaurant which I was really upset about as the menu looked delicious and the restaurant was lovely.

We did eat at David’s restaurant which is just up the road from the hotel and also Le Flambee, which is supposed to be the best restaurant in Prague – it was good but really not exceptional and in my opinion a bit passe, personally I would have prefered to eat at Coda in the hotel but it was not my choice.

I did have a massage and this was good although the room was a bit pokey. If the hotel lacks anything it is a spa to match all its other excellent facilities.

A weekend in Prague is not enough time to see this beautiful city – I do plan to return and as much as I like to try different hotels I would go back to the Aria. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the Charles Bridge, walking distance to the Prague Castle but in a a quiet street. I liked the fact the hotel is contemporary because there is so much opulance in the buildings of Prague, the hotel offers a calm and tranquil retreat from the splendour of this busy city.

We went to the Prague State Opera and saw Madame Butterfly which was excellent – there is so much music in Prage and art too – every street and square has a concert or art exhibtion so there is always something to see or do.

We had a sightseeing tour which was booked by Grande Touriste through the hotel. our guide was excellent and the tour was just at the right pace.

We had to check out in a hurry because we had to get back to the airport due to an earlier take off so I didn’t check out bill. When I got back to the UK I noticed the hotel had charged us for limo services to and from the airport which had already been paid for. I contacted them and they said they would refund this and I am waiting for confirmation from them this has been done but apart from this error there is nothing to fault about this hotel at all – the staff super , willing to please and very professional. I look forward to returning in the near future.

Dear Martin,

Thank you for ensuring yesterday evening’s rehearsal and dinner were PERFECT!  Drinks in the Baroque Garden were wonderful.  You have several new customers of the hotel – as is always the case after a meeting with our group.  They will all be back with their family & friends for holiday.  In addition, they will pass the name of your property to other companies for future upcoming business.

Everyone from the group would like the names of the wines we choose for dinner.  I choose them, both Czech and wonderful, and in our price range.

I didn’t write the names of the white and red we had with dinner.  Would you mind letting me know what we had?  The welcome drink at the reception was Hrabal – but is there additional information I need to know – such as a brand.

Thanks again!

B.F.

‘Absolutely stunning hotel experience’ is the best way to describe the Aria. If you want the quality you get from a ‘chain brand’ with the unique style and charm of a modern european boutique hotel then this place is for you. The hotel is set in the quieter, more beautiful side of the city yet it will take you less than 10 mins to stroll to Charles Bridge. (Everywhere is walking distance in Prague city so don’t worry about buses and trams just get a decent map and comfy shoes). We didn’t eat in the hotel but did go to the place opposite (I think it was called Nicholas Cafe) which is a cosy, underground pub/bar where everyone was friendly and beers just kept coming. Also the restaurant next door to the hotel (about two metres to the right but I have forgotten the name) which served local cuisine and was very tasty.
The thing that makes this hotel stand out is the music-themed attention to detail in the rooms. We had a suite which comprised a bedroom, lounge and lovely modern bathroom with a rain forest shower. We had two very large flat screen tvs, an interconnected music system with ipod, free internet access from a computer in the lounge, sky tv and dvd players (so you could watch the dvds you borrow from the hotel’s little music/movie library). You could add a few days onto your city break just to make the most of the room facilities!
The rest of the hotel is quiet and compact and the staff were very very lovely (they noticed from my passport that it was my birthday and gave me a cake!). If you are looking for a hotel in Prague, make this your first choice.

We stayed at the Aria Hotel for to celebrate our wedding anniverary. It was everything that we wanted, comfortable, convenient and chic. We arrived early and it was no problem to check into our bedroom. We would recommend CODA Restaurant. The Chef David Šašek came out to greet us and talk us through the menu. We opted for local dishes, which were the best that we had for our entire stay. We made use of the DVD library, which was incredibly well stocked. Our bedroom, was lovely and very comfortable. The hotel itself was pefectly positioned to explore the beautiful city of Prague.

Dear Martin,

Thank you so much for this evening :

The restaurant, the music, the little room with the fire place and the romantic setting were exceptional. We were like in a dream!

We both enjoyed your wonderful tasting menu: your cuisine was delicious with amazing flavours well combined with wines.

Your team was definitely perfect and so discreet, we appreciated it a lot (I hope they appreciated us as well!). For the finish, they kindly offered us presents like chocolates and the view from the roof terrace that created lovely romantic moments.

Thanks to everyone at Coda for making that evening such a memorable one!

As it was perfect, it’s quite difficult for us to tell you what you should do better! Just follow this standing!

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

F&D

Hi Linda,

Thank you very much for organizing a wonderful few days for us in the Aria and Prague. The service and help could not have been better and the cake was such a lovely thought. We are now back to work in Dublin but with such lovely memories. Thank you. Warmest wishes,

K&J.

“Great location, fantastic service and a restaurant to die for!”

We stayed for a long weekend at the Aria and got picked up using the limousine service. From that moment until we left the friendly service and support was fantastic by everyone we met.

The rooms were lovely and bespoke, with the only criticism being that they were rather hot and the air con didnt make a huge difference. However, we slept with the windows open and the quality of the room more than made up for this.

We ate in the Coda restaurant without having read the online reviews and as a result we were really suprised at how fantastic the food and service was. it was pricey (but mainly because of the wine) but definitely worth a splurge and it was one to repeat once you have saved up again.

I have been lucky enough to stay in a number of 5star hotels over the years and i can honestly say this is one of my favourites. Understated, welcoming and great quality
